Shore Legal Access is a nonprofit organization that supports and assists individuals and families who are unable to afford representation in civil legal matters and provides connections to community services. Our vision is for all people on the Eastern Shore to be empowered to resolve civil legal issues and our core values are integrity, service orientation, compassion, professionalism, respect, dignity and collaboration.

Program Description:
SLA assists people struggling with legal matters preventing them from achieving economic stability. SLA strives to educate clients about household budgeting, renting and buying a home, expungement and navigating unemployment in order to prevent unnecessary legal issues.

Program Description:
SLA offers seniors personal, confidential legal advice and counseling. Clients can obtain wills, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives free of charge. SLA strongly encourages all seniors to obtain important end-of-life documents.
